Full-chain digital management platform integrating genetics and farm operations
Gene Chip
Integrates a large-scale cross-region, cross-breed swine genomic database to ensure broad and precise locus coverage.
First chip to incorporate causal resistance loci for multiple major diseases, enabling genetic improvement of disease resistance from the source.
Validated by internationally authoritative genomics laboratories, benchmarked against global high-standard breeding chip systems.

Disease Resistance
In collaboration with specialist research institutions, BGG is conducting genomic research to identify resistance-associated genetic markers in swine, working towards breeding lines with improved natural resilience to PRRS. The programme is progressing steadily.
Comprehensive lifetime health records are established for all animals. Large-scale genomic association studies are used to identify individuals with natural immune advantages, continuously improving herd health and resilience.

Digital Operations
Breaking down traditional information silos in animal breeding — enabling seamless digital coordination from the laboratory bench to the pig house production line.
Farm-wide PDA mobile data entry for production, vaccination, and transfer events — achieving zero paper across all operational workflows. Data uploads to the cloud in real time, eliminating manual transcription errors.
A complete digital identity is established for every pig. From the selection of an embryo, through EBV evaluation, to final entry into the production system — every step is traceable and verifiable.
Automated mating recommendations generated by deep learning models. The algorithm automatically avoids inbreeding depression while optimising across multiple key phenotypes including litter size and FCR.
IoT sensor networks continuously monitor pig body temperature, feed intake, barn temperature and humidity, and CO₂ concentration. The system automatically triggers climate control adjustments to reduce energy consumption and minimise human error and disease risk.
From 2011 to Now
Company Founded
Formally established in Beijing with the mission to develop China's own swine genetics chip and advance national breed independence.
Import & Infrastructure
First high-standard nucleus farms completed in North China. Top-tier great-grandparent stock imported from Canada — no live pigs have been imported since.
Genomic Selection
BGG was among the first in China to implement whole-genome selection, significantly improving genetic evaluation accuracy and expanding selection traits from 5 to 11.
National Recognition
Multiple farms accredited as national nucleus breeding farms. BGG became the only enterprise in the industry with Duroc, Landrace and Yorkshire all simultaneously meeting national nucleus standards.
R&D Center Upgrade
Molecular breeding centre established, deepening industry-academia-research collaboration. CNAS P2-level laboratory received formal accreditation in early 2025.
Digital Breeding 4.0
Mengxin 55K chip launched. Breeding cloud platform in full operation. AI algorithms driving genetic gain decisions. Purebred stock successfully exported to Mongolia.
Academic & Research Partners
BGG maintains deep collaborative relationships with leading research institutions worldwide, jointly advancing the frontiers of breeding science and applied genetics.
